Stratum
Umbrella brand for a multi-vertical agent platform

When you build a platform that could serve research labs, personal operations, and business operations, the naming problem becomes real. “ResearchOS” is too narrow, “OpsOS” is too generic, everything good is taken. Stratum was my attempt at an umbrella brand: layered, multi-vertical, neutral enough to cover any vertical.
The thesis: A platform play needs a platform name. Vertical products get their own brands underneath. The umbrella exists to signal consolidation to investors and coherent identity to users across segments.
What was built: Full marketing site at onstratum.com, affiliate program sketch, three blog posts, content strategy.
Why it’s parked: The naming question is downstream of the strategy question. I was solving naming before the vertical lineup was stable. Stratum as a name is fine; Stratum as a business decision was premature. The umbrella-vs-vertical brand question will resurface when the actual product matters more than the marketing site.
